comPHOTOfit« +COLOR Evaluation software is identical to the CCPLS3000L product but with all Save operations disabled. This software does not require the use of a dongle to operate, and thus can be installed on any computer meeting the minimum requirements stated below. You will find this software useful as a training tool to allow officers to gain familiarity with the product while leaving the full release free for casework.
comPHOTOfit« +COLOR is a Windows«-based color facial composite program which uses features cut from actual photographs to assemble faces of startling realism. It's simple to use, and the results are worth seeing! This evaluation software is identical to the commercial version, but with a limited database and with save functions disabled.

Minimum Requirements for the evaluation to load and run:
Intel based or compatible processor, 80386 or better
SVGA monitor with 16 bit video card (32 K colors), 24 bit preferred
Windows« 3.1 or later operating system
63.3 MB of free space on your hard drive
8 MB DRAM (memory), 16 MB preferred
Microsoft« mouse or compatible
Windows« supported graphics-capable printer (required to print images)
2 MB of free space on your C: hard drive (for use by the install program)
How to install the Software.
1. Verify that you have a minimum of 2 megabytes (2,048 KB) of free space available on your C:
drive. This space will be used to create a temporary file for use by the installation program. If you plan to install to the C: drive, an additional 6.3 megabytes is required.
2 To install the software, place the disk in your drive and, from the File Manager or Explorer run or double click on "setup.exe". Follow instructions generated by the setup program.
3. At the installation location prompt, choose whatever drive you wish; you cannot change the directory. The software will only run in a directory named CPFPLUS. Do not install this software to the same drive as the full release of the product.
4. The install program will create a CPFPLUS directory and sub-directories on the selected drive. It will not modify your Autoexec.bat or Config.sys files if these exist.
5. If the program does not find a version of the file ctl3dv2.dll or victw16.dll in your Windows« System directory, it will add them.
6. The installation adds a Windows Group (Folder) with icons (shortcuts) for the Program and a Help file. The program can be launched from Windows« at any time by double-clicking on the program icon. The help file can be run by itself, or can be accessed from within the main program.
